Nokomai Valley Lodge

Nokomai Valley Lodge is set amidst beautiful old trees and surrounding the historic stone homestead. We offer visitors to Nokomai an opportunity to experience high country farm life and take full advantage of the activities available at their own pace.

The accommodation is made up of four colonial style farm cottages. These are available in one or two bedroom options and are spacious to give you that “home away from home” luxury. The cottages feature their own veranda to sit back and relax with a coffee while taking in the superb views of the valley.

The cottages surround the old stone historic homestead originally built in the 1870s and was restored in 2000 to be the reception and dining area where guests can enjoy their meals while meeting other guests.

Fourth time at Nokomai. Excellent meals and good to meet a diverse group of people around the dining table. Will be back next year, and hopefully many years thereafter.

Fantastic week with great friends. The food was outstanding. Thanks to you all, including the fishing guides.

Andrew, Sydney Australia

Another great story and not the last. The cottages are so well designed and thoughtfully appointed. The best however, is the hospitality. The fishing was a treat as usual, so the entire stay was terrific. We’ll see you again soon.

Without a doubt the most wonderful place I’ve ever stayed. Fishing wonderful, best food imaginable, everything superb. If we stay healthy and work hard we may just make it back!

Thank you very much for looking after me so well. Another marvelous week in a very special place. Unfortunately, Daryl's exercise and weight loss program could never compete with Ann and Louise's superb cooking.
